Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Podiatry Administrative Assistant in the Podiatry Department. This permanent post is 13.63 hours per week, Band 2 with pro rata salary £26,696-£28,988 plus Distant Islands Allowance £1,461 pro rata.

The successful candidate will have administrative experience, excellent people and IT skills, and the ability to work calmly in a busy NHS environment. NHS knowledge is advantageous and flexibility to cover leave is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role.
• Experience in a busy office/reception environment.
• Knowledge of the NHS would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.
• Ability to work on your own in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Deal with emails and queries from patients and professionals.
• Check and store photos from our generic email and Zoom queries.
• Provide courteous and professional service in a busy podiatry service.
• Cover annual leave and other absences when needed.
