Job Description

Role Overview

To oversee and optimise the BAU activities of the PMS system. The job holder will collaborate across business functions, business lines, and with stakeholders to streamline system processes and improve system performance.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure that BAU operations of the firm's PMS system are managed to produce accurate financial data for management accounts and to provide a positive client billing experience. It also involves ensuring the system adheres to internal security and external regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Staff Management - PMS (STAR) Support team: Manage the team, allocate work, resolve problems, train, develop, and motivate staff.
  • PMS (STAR) Business Support: Manage BAU financial operations within STAR, ensure data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and liaise with business champions.
  • PMS (STAR) Training Support: Oversee training programs, ensure staff are well-trained, and support new business integrations.
  • PMS (STAR) Technology: Coordinate with the PMS Tech team to meet business requirements.
  • WIP Management: Monitor WIP levels, reduce aged WIP, and support sign-off processes.
  • Other responsibilities: Liaise with external auditors and support financial sign-offs.
