Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers an apprenticeship in Project Management, starting 31st August 2027, for a duration of 4 years. You will join the PMO to support programme and project delivery, learning to manage plans, risks and reporting while gaining exposure to MoD and ESA projects.

The role requires strong maths, English, and A-level qualifications, with training across PM processes, tools, and data management.

Qualifications

• Two A levels at C or above and GCSE grade C/4 or above in Mathematics and English Language.
• Understanding of project management methodologies.
• Good written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and Google software.
• Experience with databases is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PMO and Project Managers in developing and maintaining business management tools, templates, and reporting for successful project delivery.
• Support the Head of PMO on delivery improvement workstreams and PM digitalisation.
• Maintain and tailor project management processes and develop software tools to support information management systems.
• Liaise with PMO, Risk and Integrated Planning to implement best practices in project and risk management.
• Maintain project plans, risk registers, milestone tracking, and monthly stakeholder reporting.
