Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers a 13-month internship within the Project Management Office (PMO). The role targets undergraduates studying Business Management or related subjects, with a focus on project management processes and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business Management or related subject.
• Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google software.
• Experience with databases and data analysis is a plus.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the PMO and Project Managers (PM) in the development and maintenance for the appropriate business management tools, other relevant methodologies, tools, templates, documentation and reporting to support the successful delivery of projects.
• Supporting the Head of PMO on delivery improvement workstreams and PM digitalisation. Maintaining and tailoring processes for Project Management as required by the business and developing / maintaining software tools to support the Business and Information Management Systems.
• Liaising with the PMO, Risk and Integrated Planning Managers to support the implementation of best practice Project and Risk Management across the business.
• Actively working on project plans, issue & change management logs, risk & opportunity registers, project management information & data gathering, milestone tracking & customer and other stakeholder monthly reporting to support the successful delivery of projects.
