Job summary

Airbus Space Systems is offering an undergraduate placement within the Project Management Office in the UK. You will support space programmes using standard PMO processes, develop project plans, and help with risk and milestone tracking in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be undergraduates for the full duration, include a CV and cover letter, and are expected to work 37 hours with hybrid and flexible hours; security checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Open to Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• CV and Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability must be included.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, or related field required.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Strong collaborative mindset and proactive initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of space programmes and projects using standard PMO processes, methods, and tools.
• Analyse and integrate quantitative and qualitative project data (time, cost, resources, quality) to support key decision-making and reporting.
• Assist in creating project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management, mitigation planning, and lessons learned capture.
• Track milestone performance, support phase reviews, and enable effective stakeholder communication.
