Job Title: PMLD Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Coventry
Salary: £80 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and specialist team at a thriving secondary school in Coventry. You will work closely with teaching staff to support students aged 11-19 with complex learning needs, including physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD
Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility where required
Support the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with PMLD or SEND is desirable
A caring, patient, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
