Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Rugby (CV22)
Pay: 450- 480 per week
Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the early years setting?
A welcoming nursery in Rugby (CV22) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to support their Nursery class. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and has a genuine passion for early years education.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children aged 3-4 years. You'll play a key role in creating a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere, while also providing targeted support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the whole Nursery class with daily routines and structured learning activities.
  • Providing tailored support to children with SEN, including Autism.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual learning plans.
  • Promoting social, emotional, and communication development.
  • Supporting the class teacher with classroom management and resource preparation.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN, such as Autism.
  • A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach to learning support.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Teaching Support is desirable.
