Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with SEN, ideally within complex needs or specialist settings.
• Strong understanding of PMLD and multi-sensory learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons for pupils with complex needs, including PMLD.
• Leading a classroom team of teaching assistants to ensure consistent and effective support.
• Using sensory, communication, and therapeutic approaches to engage learners.
• Tracking and assessing progress in line with individual education plans.
• Working closely with therapists, families, and wider support staff.
• Creating a safe, structured, and highly supportive learning environment.
