SEN Teacher - Complex Needs (PMLD) Southwark | Specialist SEN School | Full-Time

We are working with a specialist SEN school in Southwark supporting pupils with severe and complex learning needs, including PMLD, who are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team.This is a highly rewarding role for a teacher who is confident delivering highly individualised learning, leading a classroom team, and adapting teaching approaches for pupils with complex needs.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading learning within a specialist classroom environment where pupils require highly tailored educational provision. Lessons are often sensory-based, highly structured, and focused on communication, engagement, and functional life skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons for pupils with complex needs, including PMLD
• Leading a classroom team of teaching assistants to ensure consistent and effective support
• Using sensory, communication, and therapeutic approaches to engage learners
• Tracking and assessing progress in line with individual education plans
