Job summary

First Mile is seeking an Operations Support Executive at our Minerva Road NW10 operation to support day‑to‑day dispatch, ensure routes are allocated correctly, and keep information current across systems.

You will work with drivers, supervisors and other teams in a fast‑paced environment, handle night and PM responsibilities, complete yard checks, and provide clear end‑of‑shift handovers, with full training under the OSE programme.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Calm, focused approach to changing priorities and issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with drivers and teams.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and other operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the dispatch of drivers and ensure routes are allocated correctly.
• Monitor rounds, respond to issues, and maintain accurate information in systems.
• Investigate missed collections and reallocate service requirements.
• Communicate route changes and priorities with drivers and teams.
• Carry out yard checks and support night operations and handovers.
• Prepare delivery documentation and monitor vehicle maintenance data.
• Provide clear end-of-shift handover with outstanding actions.
