Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Heating Lecturer for an immediate start in Wigan. The role focuses on delivering engaging teaching and practical training to apprentices in Plumbing & Heating, with emphasis on real-world job-ready skills.

You will support learners toward NVQ/apprenticeship standards, coach and provide constructive feedback to keep them on track. A 3-month rolling contract or temp-to-perm option is available, on-site in Wigan.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training in Further Education or apprenticeships.
• Time-served Plumbing/Heating engineer moving into education is welcome.
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Plumbing & Heating Lecturer

£45 - £55 per hour + 3-Month Rolling Contract + Immediate Start Wigan, Greater Manchester (commutable from: Bolton, Warrington, St Helens, Leigh, Chorley, Skelmersdale, Preston, Manchester)

Are you an experienced Plumbing & Heating Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for an immediate start within a well-established FE setting, with the flexibility to choose a rolling contract or temp-to-perm?

Do you have experience delivering training in Further Education / apprenticeships, or are you a time-served Plumbing & Heating Engineer ready to move into education and pass your knowledge on to the next generation?

In this role you'll deliver engaging sessions, support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and provide coaching and constructive feedback to keep learners on track and achieving.

The Role:

• Deliver teaching and practical training across Plumbing & Heating
• Support and assess apprentices working towards NVQ / apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners
• 3-month rolling contract or temp-to-perm (your preference), on-site Wigan

The Person:

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing / Heating (or equivalent trade background)
• Industry experience within Plumbing & Heating
• Teaching qualification desirable (not essential)
• Training / lecturing / assessing experience advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
