Wirral Metropolitan College is seeking a Lecturer/Trainer Assessor in Plumbing & Gas to join our team. This full-time, permanent role offers £31,410 to £43,440 plus market force supplement.

You will teach, tutor groups, and assess learners, developing industry-aligned materials and delivering high-quality outcomes. Requirements include Level 2 English and Maths, a teaching qualification, an Assessor Award, and a Level 3 Plumbing & Gas qualification, with evidence of current teaching/assessing

Formación

• Minimum Level 2 English (GCSE A-C, or equivalent)
• Minimum Level 2 Maths (GCSE, A-C, or equivalent)
• Hold a teaching or training qualification, e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or be willing to work towards within 12 months.
• Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA) or be willing to work towards within a set period.
• Hold a vocational qualification minimum Level 3 in Plumbing & Gas
• Possess a full understanding of all aspects of Plumbing & Gas qualifications underpinned by relevant industrial experience.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge of current and new technologies aligned to industry standards.
• Able to evidence successful experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students.

Responsabilidades

• To carry out formal scheduled teaching.
• To act as a personal tutor to a group/s of students.
• To develop and prepare learning and assessment materials, current to the industry.
• To mark students’ work and examinations, moderation and verification, timely and efficiently.
• To train, support and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high quality outcomes, this will include some in-house delivery.
• To carry out tutorials and student assessments timely and accurately within deadlines.
