Job summary

Aob Recruitment is seeking an Assessor/Trainer in Plumbing and Gas for a college in Cambridge. You will design, plan and deliver training and assessment across practical and theoretical learning, ensuring learners progress to industry standards.

The role requires Gas Safe Registration and recognised assessor/teaching qualifications (A1, TAQA, PTLLS or equivalent). Salary £31,110–£36,157 per annum, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe Registration required.
• Recognised assessor and/or teaching qualifications (A1, TAQA, PTLLS, or equivalent).
• Experience in training or assessing Plumbing and Gas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver high-quality training and assessment in Plumbing and Gas to learners.
• Assess learners' skills through practical and theoretical evaluations.
• Provide feedback to support learner progression and maintain records per policy.
• Engage with industry partners to align training with practices and standards.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement in the department.
