Job summary

Salford City College is recruiting a Trainer/Assessor Plumbing & Gas to join our apprenticeship delivery team in Salford. This permanent 36-hour-a-week role focuses on delivering high-quality training and assessing learners through site-based and classroom activities.

The successful candidate will have a domestic plumbing and gas background, with opportunities for progression and involvement in developing learners' knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Qualifications

• Domestic plumbing and gas background required.
• Experience in education/training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders (virtual and in-person) and guide the apprenticeship journey.
• Support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Undertake site-based assessments and review progress with employers.
• Maintain accurate records and identify new apprenticeship opportunities.
• Deliver short training courses and help the team exceed targets.
