Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Training Coordinator in Plumbing to join the Apprenticeships department at Corby Campus. You will manage the end-to-end apprenticeship journey for Plumbing and Gas learners, coordinating induction, progress reviews and target setting to support timely achievement.

You will deliver industry-relevant training and assessment across Plumbing Levels 2 and 3, Gas Level 3 and ACS, ensuring portfolios of evidence and compliance with awarding bodies.

Qualifications

• Holds Level 2 English and Maths, Level 2/3 Plumbing qualifications, Gas Level 3, ACS and Gas Safe credentials, plus A1 Assessor or TAQA qualification.
• Experience delivering, assessing and coordinating competence-based programmes in plumbing/gas.
• Ability to manage learner caseloads and coordinate progress with employers.
• Strong administrative and communication skills with evidence of audit-ready records.
• Wamiliarity with safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end apprenticeship journey for Plumbing and Gas learners, from induction to SMART target setting.
• Deliver training, assessment, coaching and mentoring across Plumbing Levels 2–3 and Gas Level 3.
• Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with awarding bodies and funding.
• Engage employers, coordinate workplace visits and progress reviews to support learners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and uphold college policies and values.
