Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Training Coordinator in Plumbing to join our Apprenticeships department at the Corby campus.

As a Training Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end apprenticeship journey for Plumbing and Gas learners, deliver training, assess and coach across levels, and ensure compliance with funding and awarding body requirements. The role requires travel across the region and a commitment to safeguarding and college values.

Qualifications

• Holds Level 2 English and Maths, relevant Level 2 and 3 Plumbing qualifications, Gas Level 3, ACS and Gas Safe credentials, alongside an A1 Assessor or TAQA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Apprenticeship Coordination & Learner Progress - Manage end-to-end journey for Plumbing and Gas learners, assess, induction, progress monitoring and SMART targets.
• Training, Assessment & Coaching - Deliver industry-relevant training, assessment, coaching and mentoring across Plumbing Levels 2 and 3, Gas Level 3 and ACS.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance - Maintain learner records, ensure evidence meets awarding body requirements, contribute to audits.
• Employer Engagement & Learner Support - Build relationships with employers, coordinate workplace visits and progress reviews.
• Curriculum Development & Professional Standards - Contribute to curriculum improvement and CPD while promoting safeguarding and College policies.
