Job summary

Citizen Housing Group is seeking a skilled Trade Engineer – Plumber to join our Empty Homes Maintenance Operations team in Coventry. The role is hands‑on and requires a qualified plumber with experience in social housing, health and safety best practices, and the ability to work across void and occupied properties.

The salary is £39,289 per year, with 37 hours per week from 8am to 4pm (3:30pm Fridays). A full UK driving license and CSCS or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant plumbing

Qualifications

• Craft City & Guilds or SNVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential)
• Craft City & Guilds or SNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (desirable)
• CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
• Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
• Sound knowledge of plumbing systems and associated trade skills
• Proven experience in social housing maintenance and building services

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement core trade activities
• Carry out works in line with recognised regulations
• Provide on site support to trade engineers as required
