Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber Multi-Trader to join a social housing repairs team. Based across Coventry and Nuneaton, you will perform domestic plumbing repairs and related multi-trade tasks.

The role is 12-week temporary to permanent, with a dedicated planning team and local area scheduling. You will work independently with support from supervisors as needed, using a PDA or tablet to record progress and deliver high quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Plumbing must be core trade and primary skill.
• Basic multi-trade skills in at least one additional trade.
• Experience with unvented cylinders and domestic repairs.
• Ability to work independently with good workload management.
• Full UK driving licence and comfort using a tablet.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic plumbing repairs and associated multi-trade works.

Plumber Multi Trader (Social Housing)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi-Trader to join a well-established property maintenance contractor on a full-time, permanent basis, working across a social housing repairs and maintenance contract.

£23.52 per hour - £35,000 per annum + package

The Role:

You will be part of a dedicated Repairs and Maintenance team, completing plumbing repairs and associated multi-trade works across social housing properties in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas.

A dedicated planning team will organise your daily schedule, ensuring jobs are allocated within your local area and that you have the necessary information to complete each task. Although the role involves working independently, support will be available from supervisors when required.

Plumbing must be your core trade, alongside basic skills in one or more additional trades, including carpentry, plastering, tiling, groundwork or painting and decorating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out domestic plumbing repairs, utilising your knowledge of unvented cylinders and associated plumbing systems.
• Complete allocated repairs efficiently and to the required standard.
• Identify additional works and notify supervisors when other trades are required.
• Work collaboratively with other operatives where necessary to complete repairs and projects.
• Maintain accurate job records and update progress using a PDA, smartphone or tablet.
• Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and client representatives.
• Arrange the purchase of materials required to complete works efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and occupational road safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Plumbing must be your core trade.
• Basic multi-trade skills in at least one additional trade, such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, groundwork or painting and decorating.
• Experience with unvented cylinders and domestic plumbing repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Confidence using a tablet or smartphone to receive jobs, record notes and update work progress.
• Previous experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance.
