Gilmartins is recruiting an experienced Plumber Multi Trader with additional trades such as basic carpentry & electrics, patch plastering, tiling.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in social housing.

We operate in social housing, providing reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

The role involves work and travel in the South West London area, mainly in the postcodes SE18 and SW5.

Properties are spread across these areas, requiring regular travel.

Gilmartins is a family-owned business; our staff are valued, and we promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools, giving them a hands-on understanding of our work.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance in social housing.
• Work according to Scope of Works on PDA for each job.

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving license (not EU or automatic).
• Own tools required.
• Experience in social housing.
• DBS certificate.

Working hours are from 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with call-outs as required once every 4 weeks. On-call from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am (£35-£50 per call out).
