Gilmartins is recruiting an experienced Plumber Multi Trader with additional trades such as basic carpentry & electrics, patch plastering, tiling.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in social housing.

We specialize in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

The role involves work and travel within the South West London area, mainly in post codes like SE18 and SW5.

Properties are located across these areas, requiring regular travel.

Gilmartins is a family-owned business that values its staff and promotes from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools, providing a hands-on understanding of the work.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance in social housing.
• Work according to the Scope of Works on PDA for each job.

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving license (not EU or automatic).
• Own tools required.
• Experience in social housing.
• DBS certificate.

Working hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with call-outs as required approximately once every 4 weeks. On-call hours are from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am, with a rate of £35-£50 per call out.
