Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber for a Maintenance Company responsible for planned and response repairs on local authority properties.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to isolate and remove existing domestic bathrooms, strip tiles, patch plaster, widen doorways into brick or stud walls, fit door linings, and hang or rehang doors.
• Fit a level access shower tray in concrete or timber floors, including 'noggin' between joists to suit tray size.
• Install baths, pumps (training provided), first & second fix WC, shower units, wash hand basins, screens, and disabled grab rails.
• Prepare work areas for other trades such as plasterers, electricians, and floor layers.
• Tile bathrooms.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform at least two other trades to an excellent standard (Carpentry, Flooring, Tiling, Decorating).
• Knowledge of materials and methods used in building and maintenance industries.
• Full, current driving license.
• Experience in building maintenance and educational environments.
