Job summary

R9 Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Plumber to join a well-established social housing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance to residents in occupied properties. You will carry out a wide range of domestic plumbing tasks and contribute to the upkeep of heating systems.

Based in SE/SW London, the role is full-time and permanent with a salary up to £35,000 per annum. Benefits include a company van and fuel card, holiday entitlement, pension scheme and ongoing

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (preferred).
• Proven experience in social housing, maintenance or domestic plumbing.
• Experience with cylinders, heating systems, radiator works and powerflushing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Strong customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Working on hot water cylinders, immersion heaters and related pipework.
• Powerflushing radiators and heating systems.
• Wet work on heating systems, including radiator replacements.
• Diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages and faulty plumbing installations.
• Installing and repairing taps, toilets, sinks, baths and showers.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Providing excellent customer service when working in occupied properties.
