Job summary

Calibre Search is recruiting a Maintenance Plumber in Coalville to join a professional facilities management team on a static, high-profile site. The role covers planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and installations across plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring safety and compliance.

You will work a Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30 schedule, earn up to £39,000 per annum with a strong focus on reliability, customer service and quality workmanship within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, installations and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Maintain water supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures and outlets.
• Install and maintain pipework, water systems and plumbing fixtures in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.
• Maintain waste and vent systems using appropriate equipment.
• Complete plumbing inspections and PPM activities, including backflow prevention devices where appropriately certified.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency call-outs and breakdowns.
• Work closely with contractors and site teams, providing plumbing expertise during projects and equipment installations.
• Support general building maintenance activities when required.
• Share knowledge and provide basic plumbing guidance to colleagues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, installations, testing and fault finding across plumbing and mechanical systems.

You'll work as part of a wider maintenance team, supporting day-to-day building operations while also responding to breakdowns, emergencies and maintenance requirements.
