Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber in Coalville to join a busy facilities team. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, installations and fault-finding across plumbing systems, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role involves working across a busy facility, supporting day-to-day operations, with a basic salary of up to £39,000 per annum and opportunities to develop within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, installations and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Maintain water supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures and outlets.
• Install and maintain pipework, water systems and plumbing fixtures in accordance with drawings, specifications and regulations.
• Maintain waste and vent systems using appropriate equipment.
• Complete plumbing inspections and PPM activities, including backflow prevention devices where certified.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdowns.
• Work closely with contractors and site teams on projects and equipment installations.
• Share knowledge and provide basic plumbing guidance to colleagues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Plumber to join a professional facilities management team based in Coalville, offering a basic salary of up to £39,000 per annum.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced plumber to take on a varied role, working across a busy facility and helping to keep essential systems operating safely and efficiently.

The Role

As a Maintenance Plumber, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, installations, testing and fault finding across plumbing and mechanical systems.

You’ll work as part of a wider maintenance team, supporting day-to-day building operations while also responding to breakdowns, emergencies and maintenance requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, installations and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Maintain water supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures and outlets.
• Install and maintain pipework, water systems and plumbing fixtures in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.

• Work closely with contractors and site teams, providing plumbing expertise during projects and equipment installations.
• Support general building maintenance activities when required.
• Share your knowledge and provide basic plumbing guidance to colleagues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
