Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Plumber for our Coalville facility. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and installation of plumbing and mechanical systems across the site.

You will support hospital/building equipment operations and respond to general maintenance duties as part of a facilities team. The ideal candidate has plumbing qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ 2/3) and proven maintenance experience, with strong time management.

Qualifications

• Repairs, installs, tests and troubleshoots water and medical gas systems.
• Installs piping and fixtures per blueprints, drawings and codes.
• Performs backflow device PMs and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, replaces and tests water and medical gas distribution systems.
• Maintains waste and vent lines and related plumbing components.
• Assists other department staff or contractors on plumbing tasks.
• Completes plumbing safety inspections and PMs on backflow devices.
• Trains staff on light plumbing maintenance and repair.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, replaces, tests and troubleshoots the water and medical gas supply and distribution system including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
• Installs new water (medical gas supply system with proper certification), piping, and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
• Maintains waste and vent lines in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger and/or jet washer.
• Assists other department staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations where plumbing expertise is required.
• Completes plumbing safety inspections and PM's on backflow devices as assigned (with proper certifications).
• Acts as a resource to and provides training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair in a safe manner.
• Performs general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
