Job summary

PLM is seeking a proactive PLM Consultant in the Cardiff area to translate client requirements into practical digital engineering solutions. You will engage across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management, delivering designs and configurations that align with client workflows.

You will lead workshops, support deployments, and build trusted advisor relationships with clients while staying informed on PLM trends and best practices in engineering software environments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing role.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Experience with Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx.
• A background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into clear PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Lead implementation activity, keeping projects on track against timelines and budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops to help client teams get the most from the system.
• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for PLM-related issues.
