Job summary

PLM is seeking a consultancy-focused PLM Consultant to join our growing team in the UK. You will gather requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management, translate them into practical PLM designs and guide implementation from design to data migration.

You will configure PLM systems to align with client workflows and integrate with ERP, CAD and IoT ecosystems, while leading workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing role.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Experience with PTC solutions such as Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into clear PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows, business rules and industry requirements.
• Support software installation, configuration, customisation and data migration.
• Integrate PLM solutions with wider enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.
• Lead implementation activity and keep projects on track against timelines and budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops to help client teams get the most from the system.
• Provide technical support and act as escalation point for PLM issues.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project.
