Job summary
Samuel Frank is recruiting a PLC Controls Engineer for an established South Yorkshire systems integrator. You will develop PLC/SCADA software from scratch and manage projects from design through commissioning.
The role covers design, testing, and handover with on-site commissioning and limited travel, based in Sheffield and surrounding areas. You will join a team with a strong project pipeline and opportunity for ownership.
Qualifications
- Commercial PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens TIA Portal.
- Experience in control systems engineering and industrial automation.
- Background in systems integrator, OEM or process control environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop PLC and SCADA software from scratch for industrial processes.
- Design, test, commission and hand over projects across the lifecycle.
- Produce FDS, test docs and technical manuals.
- Commission and troubleshoot at customer sites within the region.
