E3 Recruitment is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer for a leading manufacturing business in Tamworth. The role is Monday to Friday, days only, with a strong focus on electrical and automation systems, PLC fault finding, and maintenance support across production lines.

Base salary is around 55,000 with a substantial bonus and premium OT opportunities, taking total earnings to well over 70k. The company offers extensive training and progression paths within a supportive maintenance team.

Formación

• Recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent UK level 3 qualification - NVQ, City and Guilds AND BTEC 3 or HNC/HND.
• PLC Fault finding experience and ability to fault find, breakdowns, and changing PLC parameters specifically.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment undertaking PPM and TPM activities
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to electrical machinery problems

Responsabilidades

• Provide Hands-on Electrical & Controls support to Production and internal functions across the factory.
• Perform PLC fault finding and modifications on PLC controlled machinery.
• Work with servo drives, HMIs and Profibus projects as part of maintenance and improvement programs.
