Job summary

Bonneville Primary School is seeking a Playworker to join its thriving After School Club. The role involves supporting children with safe, nurturing activities from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm, 16.25 hours per week during term time, at Bonneville Primary School.

Immediate start is available, with salary on NJC Scale 3 pro rata (£31,086–£31,530). This is a great chance to contribute to children’s wellbeing after the school day.

Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children within our thriving After School Club at Bonneville Primary School.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and develop positive relationships. You will contribute to planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s wellbeing, creativity and enjoyment at the end of the school day.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and reliable individual who enjoys working with children and is committed to creating a positive and engaging environment for them at the end of the school day. The successful candidate will be able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be patient, approachable and able to support children of different ages, interests and abilities through a range of play-based and recreational activities. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, use your initiative and remain calm in a busy environment is essential. Above all, you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and included.
