Job summary

Lower Farm Primary School is seeking a Playworker (Level 2) to join our Before and After School Club and Holiday Playscheme. This permanent post is 22.5 hours a week, term time plus school holidays, with an actual salary of £13,683–£13,900.

The successful applicant will demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, teamwork and an understanding of young children's needs. Appointment is subject to DBS enhanced clearance and two suitable references.

Qualifications

• Hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work with young children in a school setting.
• Demonstrate a professional manner at all times.

Lower Farm Primary is a nurturing and continually improving school with excellent facilities.

This appointment is from 1st October (or as soon as possible after this date) for 22.5 hours a week and will be to work in our Before and After School Club and Holiday Playscheme.

The successful applicant will:

• Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a secure understanding of the needs of young children
