Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for the Platform Engineering team in the UK. You will own the technical direction, set engineering standards, and drive performance improvements across multiple services and shared libraries.

You will mentor engineers, lead critical code reviews, and translate business requirements into a concrete technical roadmap. You will define contracts between UI, backend services, and cloud layers, coordinating changes and ensuring security,

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading production software on distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Python and FastAPI/REST, including async patterns and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and coaching teams on compliant usage.
