Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Platform Engineering to set technical direction across services and shared libraries, drive architecture contracts, and mentor engineers.

You will own performance improvements, define standards, and coordinate changes across teams to deliver secure, scalable software. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into a pragmatic technical roadmap, review multi-codebase changes, and lead high-impact code

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software as a technical lead on distributed systems.
• Expertise in Python and FastAPI/REST, with async patterns and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve cross-cutting architecture contracts across UI, backend services and cloud layers.
• Improve execution performance, model start-up latency, and compute strategies (serverless, pools, warm patterns).
• Lead AI-assisted engineering governance to improve code quality, testing, and release readiness.
