Job summary

StarCompliance is seeking a Platform Quality Engineer to join its centralised Platform Quality Engineering function. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests across integration and API layers, validating asynchronous workflows and ensuring reliability of the cloud-native SaaS platform.

Reporting to the Lead Quality Architect, you will contribute to test frameworks, performance testing, and CI/CD integration, collaborating closely with Product Owners and engineering teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience validating integration and non-functional aspects across distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Hands-on coding in C#, TypeScript, or Python with automated testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests at integration and API layers.
• Develop tests for asynchronous and event-driven workflows (e.g., messaging, retries).
• Contribute production-quality code to shared automation frameworks.
• Design and execute performance and scalability tests for the platform.
• Build and maintain realistic performance test data and workloads.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Analyze test results to identify platform risks and improvements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate changes.
