Job summary

StarCompliance is seeking a Platform Quality Engineer to join our centralized Platform Quality Engineering function. The role focuses on platform-level QA across the enterprise SaaS platform, with emphasis on integration and API testing in a distributed, cloud-native system.

Reporting to the Lead Quality Architect, you will help design, implement, and maintain automated tests, validate complex failure modes, and contribute to performance testing and observability across services before release.

Qualifications

• Experience QA for platform- or enterprise-scale SaaS across distributed systems.
• Strong coding in C#, TypeScript, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests at integration and API layers.
• Develop tests for asynchronous and event-driven workflows.
• Contribute production-quality code to shared automation frameworks and quality tooling.
• Design and execute performance and scalability tests for the enterprise SaaS platform.
• Build and maintain performance test data, scenarios, and workloads reflecting real-world usage.
• Integrate automated functional and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support validation activities within the Staging environment as the primary platform integration and QA layer.
• Analyze functional, integration, and performance test results to identify systemic risks and improvements.
• Partner with Product Owners to understand upcoming platform changes and prepare targeted tests.
• Collaborate with architecture, platform, and engineering teams to improve testability and observability.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate test creation and reduce flakiness.
