AppyWay, the UK’s leading kerbside data company, is hiring a Platform Product Owner to own the Kerbside Intelligence Platform (The Hub). You’ll translate strategy into a frontline backlog and partner with Engineering and Data teams to deliver platform capabilities and APIs that serve multiple products and customers.

You will work at the intersection of product, technology and data, turning complex platform problems into incremental, value‑driven work while driving AI-enabled data classification

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience owning technical, platform or data products in an agile environment.
• Proven experience with a geospatial product or data platform.
• Track record of owning APIs, data models and pipelines.
• Experience in data classification, standardisation and quality.
• Experience scaling APIs and platform capabilities for multiple products.
• Strong communication with engineers, data practitioners and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Execute the product roadmap, backlog and priorities for the Hub Platform.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement the kerbside data model across assets and rules.
• Define requirements for data classification and standardisation across sources.
• Own product requirements for data pipelines: ingestion, transformation, validation and publication.
• Define scalable platform capabilities and APIs for multiple products.
• Drive API development, contracts and usage patterns for internal and external use cases.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve data quality and workflows.
• Move towards automation with exception-based operating model.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data, GIS, Commercial and Operations to align needs.
• Maintain a clear, prioritised backlog and acceptance criteria.
