Job summary

AppyWay is seeking a Platform Product Owner to own the Kerbside Intelligence Platform (The Hub). You’ll translate strategy into a prioritised backlog, partner with Engineering and Data to deliver scalable platform capabilities, and ensure consuming products have the capabilities they need.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of product, technology and data. You’ll drive API and data pipeline work, support AI/ML opportunities, and collaborate across Product, GIS, Commercial and Operations

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience owning technical, platform or data products in an agile environment.
• Proven experience with a geospatial product, geospatial data platform or complex SaaS data platform.
• Track record of owning technical products or platforms with APIs, data models and pipelines.
• Experience designing or managing data pipelines and data quality across multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, backlog and priorities for the Hub Platform.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement the kerbside data model and ensure consistent representations of parking assets, geometry, restrictions, tariffs and rights.
• Define data requirements, standardisation and quality for multi-source datasets.
• Own data pipeline requirements: ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation and distribution.
• Define scalable platform APIs and contracts for internal/external use cases.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML to improve data classification, anomaly detection and validation.
