Job summary

WPP is seeking a Platform Operations Director for WPP Media to ensure operational readiness, QA, and release governance across delivery streams. You will drive BAU processes, documentation, and stakeholder communications to enable smooth transitions from project delivery into steady-state operations.

The role collaborates with Product Owners, Engineering, Data, Reporting and QA to embed best practices, manage risks and deliver measurable operational value across platforms and reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform operations, service transition, QA coordination or technical operations.
• Strong BAU support, release management and handover understanding.
• Experience coordinating UAT, defect tracking and business validation.
• Ability to create clear documentation and operational runbooks.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate BAU operational processes for platforms, tools and reports.
• Coordinate QA activity and ensure testing requirements are defined before development.
• Support training, demos, release notes and user communications for adoption.
• Own release readiness checklists and post-release handover to BAU support.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge resources and support governance.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to QA and release governance.
• Coordinate cross-team activities with Product Owners, Engineering, Data and QA.
