Campbell Scientific Ltd. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer in the UK to build and run the internal platform used by product teams.

You will enable secure, reliable software delivery across public cloud and on-premises Kubernetes and Docker Swarm environments, treating the platform as a product with developers as customers. You will work on GitOps, infrastructure as code, observability, and software supply-chain security, collaborating with development, security, and operations to adopt

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in platform engineering or DevOps with production responsibility for Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with K3s, Docker Swarm and OpenShift.
• Hands-on GitOps with Argo CD, Helm, and CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain the internal platform used by product teams to ship software safely and quickly.
• Design and operate declarative delivery with GitOps tooling, including automated rollbacks.
• Provision and manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible; ensure reproducibility and drift-free environments.
• Run production Kubernetes clusters across cloud and bare metal; oversee reliability, observability, and security.
