Job summary

CGI Group Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build and operate scalable platform capabilities using AWS, Kubernetes and Python. You will join collaborative teams and own engineering challenges to accelerate AI service delivery in client environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud-native work, CI/CD, and contributing to platform tooling while shaping technical direction. This office-based role requires UK security clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering experience with cloud-native environments.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes expertise with Python development
• Experience building, operating or improving reliable cloud platforms across teams

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop and enhance scalable platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Deploy & Operate: Deploy, manage and maintain applications on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• Develop & Improve: Contribute to Python applications, utilities and tools that improve platform capabilities.
• Automate & Optimise: Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Integrate & Enable: Support hosting of AI services across client environments.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with engineers to solve challenges and improve platform design.
• Own & Deliver: Take responsibility for high-quality engineering outcomes and technical direction
