Rocket Science in Cardiff is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and enhance reliable data systems for games and partners. You will own data pipelines, modelling, quality, and observability while adapting to adjacent areas like backend services and cloud infra.

You will engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and make pragmatic trade-offs to deliver scalable data solutions with a strong focus on data trust and impact across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering depth with pipelines, modelling, quality and observability.
• Ability to work across analytics platforms and backend services when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data platforms and pipelines for games and partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and plan delivery.
• Improve data quality, observability, and data trust for technical and non-technical users.
