Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe Limited is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and operate robust data pipelines across batch and near-real-time workloads. You will translate complex business logic into reliable data models and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

You will own the data engineering lifecycle from requirements through deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement, collaborating with platform teams, security and analytics to enable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Strong hands-on SQL and Python skills with experience in distributed data processing.
Experience with PySpark and Databricks.
Experience with AWS services, APIs and event-driven integration.
Knowledge of data governance, security and lineage practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test and maintain robust batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
Develop reusable data models and data products aligning with business needs.
Lead technical design and ensure scalable, secure solutions.
Mentor engineers and contribute to coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify data ownership.
