Care ADHD is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead architecture and hands‑on development across a SaaS platform for ADHD assessments and treatment. You will shape patterns, security, and platform strategy while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

This role is hands‑on (40‑60%) and requires mentoring engineers, guiding CI/CD, and driving performance, reliability, and cloud‑native designs on AWS. Join a fast‑growing HealthTech startup committed to accessible care and innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience building and scaling modern SaaS platforms.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and modern web architectures.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, API design, and cloud native development.
• Experience designing and operating solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modelling.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• A passion for mentoring engineers and helping teams succeed.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture and technical design across the platform.
• Define scalable, secure, and maintainable engineering patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Provide architectural leadership across frontend, backend, APIs, infrastructure, data, and third‑party integrations.
• Act as the senior technical authority for complex engineering decisions and architectural challenges.
• Influence technical direction across multiple engineering teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with platform strategy.
• Partner closely with the Director of Engineering to align technical strategy with product delivery and business objectives.
• Drive long‑term platform scalability, resilience, performance, and operational excellence. Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Help shape and maintain the organisation's technical roadmap.
