Job summary

Referment is a healthcare technology company building software that helps clinical teams deliver ADHD and autism assessments more efficiently. This hands-on Product Engineer role offers end-to-end ownership from idea to production feature, collaborating with ML engineers and clinicians to address edge cases in real clinical practice.

You will design APIs, data models, and flows, test thoroughly, and manage edge cases in a startup setting in the UK.

Qualifications

• At least five years of software engineering experience with ownership of features end-to-end.
• Ability to reason about architecture, APIs and data models.
• Comfort working from incomplete specifications and independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-enabled full-stack features from scoping to release.
• Design APIs, data models and flows that remain maintainable as the product evolves.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and clinicians to understand requirements and trade-offs.
• Test features thoroughly and handle real-world edge cases.
• Move quickly in a startup while balancing scope, UX and technical debt.
