Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Principal Engineer for the Member Experience Platform (App, Portal & Identity). You will define the technical direction, set tenets and paved roads for rapid, safe delivery across the Mobile App, Member Portal and Identity services.

You will lead a cohort of engineers, raise the hiring bar, and partner with Platform Ownership, DevSecOps and Release to ensure high-performance, low-risk changes that improve member experiences weekly.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams at scale.
• Experience defining architecture and platform standards.
• Strong collaboration with platform ownership and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering tenets, patterns and paved roads for the Member Experience Platform.
• Lead and develop a cohort of engineers, raising the hiring bar and culture.
