Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the Digital Experience Platform. You will set technical direction, drive secure-by-design, cloud-native practices, and advance AEM and the Design System across public websites and journeys.

You will lead a cohort of engineers, foster high performance, and partner with Architecture, DevSecOps, Environments, Release and QE to deliver fast, safe changes weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in fast-moving digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of secure-by-design, cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with AEMaaCS and front-end web development.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering tenets and paved roads for DEP.
• Lead engineers, coach teams, and raise the hiring bar.
• Define Golden Path, CI/CD pipelines and observability.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevSecOps, QE, Release.
