Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Plater Welder to join our client's dedicated team. If you take pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities of a Plater Welder:

1. Perform fillet welds from 6mm right up to 100mm.
2. Carry out butt welds on plate thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 100mm.
3. Execute multi-run welding to a consistently high quality and a neat standard.
4. Work from technical drawings, ensuring all fabrications meet strict specifications and tolerances.
5. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.

Requirements of a Plater Welder:

1. Proven experience in heavy fabrication and welding.
2. Ability to produce neat, structurally sound multi-run welds.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of work.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Competitive pay rates including overtime at x1.5 and x2.
