Job Opportunity: Fabricator/Welder at Niftylift

Join our friendly team at Niftylift, a world-leading designer and manufacturer of mobile elevated work platforms, based at our state-of-the-art facility in Hoyland, Barnsley.

Position Details:

• Permanent role with ongoing progression and skill-based pay increases
• Competitive starting salary of £37,121.00 per annum, based on 37.5 hours/week
• Overtime at premium rates, regular bonuses, and additional benefits

Role Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and welding of mild steel platform chassis components to company standards
• Operating automated plasma/seam welders

Experience & Skills Required:

• Experience in fabrication and MIG welding
• Ability to use jigs and fixtures for high-quality, repetitive components
• Knowledge of MIG welding; TIG welding desirable but not essential

Shift Details:

• Rotating day shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (Monday-Thursday), 06:00-11:30 / 11:30-17:00 (Friday)
• Shift bonus of 1.15x for both shifts

Compensation:

• Base salary: £15.51/hour plus guaranteed minimum of £45/week bonus
• Overtime at premium rates: Level A at £23.37/hour, Level B at £31.02/hour
• Average monthly bonus of £280-£350, with annual bonus around £500
