Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a reliable Plasterer on a permanent contract to cover Peterborough and surrounding areas. The role focuses on plastering, wall preparation, and patches within social housing and maintenance projects.

You should have a recognised plastering qualification such as NVQ Level 2, solid plastering experience, and a full UK driving licence. The work involves tiling, skim coats, repairs to a high standard, and travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• A recognised plastering qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Previous plastering experience.
• Experience with patch repairs and remedial work.
• Tiling and wet wall experience.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based in or around Peterborough.

Responsibilities

• Preparing walls and ceilings for painting.
• Solid plastering and applying skim coats.
• Patching holes and damaged surfaces, including decorative cornice.
• Carrying out tiling and wet wall applications.
• Completing repairs to a high standard.
