Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced plasterer for a mobile role covering the Bournemouth area, joining a social housing repairs and maintenance team. The role involves internal plastering repairs, damp and mould remedial works, and working in occupied homes while managing stock and using the provided van and fuel card.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 in Plastering, a full UK driving license, asbestos awareness, and previous social housing or reactive maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Use PDA/mobile device to update job status in real-time.

Job description

Are you a skilled plasterer looking for stability and the autonomy of a mobile role? We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a dedicated social housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Bournemouth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching, and full wall/ceiling finishes.
• Conducting "damp and mould" remedial works where required.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while working in occupied homes.
• Managing your own stock and materials using the provided fuel card and van.
• Using a PDA or mobile device to receive and update job status in real-time.

Role Requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent time‑served experience).
• Full UK Driving Licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience working within social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Your own tools would be preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing directly with tenants.
